Does it work with Hinglish and accents?
Yes — uniqueness handles English, Hindi, and natural Hinglish. Fast talkers and strong accents are fine; you can always edit the script and captions re-match the voice.
How do captions lock to my voice?
We transcribe the clip and lock every word to the moment it is spoken, then group lines by natural rhythm. Edit the script anytime — the timing adjusts with it.
Which aspect ratios can I export?
9:16 for Reels and Shorts, 1:1 for feed posts, and 16:9 for YouTube — plus clean SRT, VTT, and TXT, or a real burned-in MP4.
How does billing work?
Every caption style is free. Pay only for captioning minutes and clean exports — a one-time credit pack or a monthly plan, both through secure Razorpay checkout (UPI, cards, netbanking).
Is my clip uploaded to a server?
Yes — your clip is uploaded so it can be transcribed accurately and, if you export an MP4, so the captions can be burned in. It is used for nothing else, is never shared, and is deleted from our servers within 24 hours. See our privacy policy for the detail.
Which video formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, AVI and 3GP for video, and M4A, MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG, OPUS or FLAC if you only have audio. If it plays in your browser, it will almost certainly work.
What is the maximum file size?
500MB per clip. That is generous for short-form — a 60-second 1080p Reel is usually well under 100MB. If your file is larger, export it again at 1080p rather than 4K; captions do not need the extra resolution.
How long can my clip be?
There is no hard limit, and long clips are split automatically so nothing is lost. In practice short-form is what this is built for — past about 10 minutes, transcription and burning the captions in both start to take a while.
Which languages does it support?
Speech-to-text covers 27 languages including Hindi, Hinglish, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Odia and Nepali, alongside English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Indonesian, Turkish, Italian and Vietnamese. Auto-detect handles the rest. You can also translate finished captions into 16 languages and download those as subtitle files.
How long does an export take?
Captions appear a few seconds after the clip lands — a 30-second clip transcribes in about 6 seconds. SRT, VTT and TXT files download instantly. A burned-in MP4 takes longer because the video is re-encoded, usually a minute or two for a short clip.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — the studio runs in any modern mobile browser, and you can caption and export straight from your phone. Fine-tuning caption size and position is easier on a bigger screen, so a lot of people shoot on a phone and style on a laptop.
